Schoolsensations

We are the travel agency Schoolsensations specialist in student language trips, group trips, school excursions and immersion programs. The company communicates in three languages. German, since the company was first founded in Austria in 2006; Spanish, as the company headquarters have been in Spain since January 2017, and English for international correspondence with customers and travel partners.

The Team

The team is composed internationally and you can expect an exciting and varied internship program. You will not only get to know the tourism industry (travel agency, hotels, language schools, travel partners, …) but there will also be other areas such as the film and media industry, international marketing, regional and international advertising, local agricultural products and culinary specialties treated in Valencia. Interesting lectures, presentations in small groups and company visits as well as teamwork are on the agenda. At the end of the internship, each participant receives his internship confirmation.

Who can participate?

This program is tailored for students from 16+ years and enables them to get to know different industries in the shortest possible time, gain international experience in a company and improve their language skills.

Pupils and students from all over Europe are accepted. A maximum of 10 participants per appointment are possible.

Working languages: German, Spanish, English 

Prerequisite: own laptop or tablet / iPad would be advantageous

Dates

• Period 1 for 2 weeks from July 5-16, 2021
• Period 2 for 2 weeks from July 19 to 30, 2021
• Combination 4 weeks: cycle 1 & cycle 2

Week 1 / start period 1 ( focus: get to know the travel industry)
Monday: Office – greeting and presentation of the participants
Tuesday: Excursion – visit, and lecture language school for Spanish & subsequent city tour

Thursday: excursion – visit and presentation of a hostel
Friday: office

Week 2  ( focus: get to know the travel industry)
Monday: Office
Tuesday: excursion – tour and presentation of a hotel *** Wednesday: Office and visit to the official tourist office in Valencia Thursday: excursion – tour and presentation of a hotel **** Friday: internship confirmation, certificates at the end of the internship

Week 3  / Start period 2 (focus: media & regional companies)
Monday: Office – greeting and presentation of the participants in the second round Tuesday: Excursion – Lecture director of an online YouTube series & subsequent city tour

Thursday: Excursion workshop with Spanish teachers from Valencia
Friday: office

Week 4  (focus: media & regional companies)
Monday: office
Tuesday: Excursion – visit to a Horchata factory
Wednesday: office
Thursday: Excursion – tour and lecture sector gastronomy
Friday: internship confirmation, certificates at the end of the internship

Daily routines:

On the days in the office, topics are discussed and prepared. Fields of work: social media, image processing programs, presentation techniques, YouTube, website, international correspondence, …

The internship can be booked for two to four weeks.

Grants for the internship from € 350, – € 450
The language course can also be funded.

1-2 weeks intensive course – before the internship

 Transport & Accommodation

We are happy to help you find a suitable flight or accommodation.

We recommend:

• Spanish host families with half board (breakfast and dinner)
  from 180€/ week (27€ per day)
• Hostel bed in multiple rooms with breakfast from 14€ / day
• Apartments for students. from 300-400€ per month (+deposit, +finding fee)
